Hi, I'm Taylor!

As a former college athlete with a bachelor's degree in Counseling Psychology, I've always been fascinated by the connection between our thoughts and beliefs, and our ability to perform at our highest level. Through my personal experiences I learned that physical preparation alone isn't enough—how we think directly influences how we grow, compete, respond to adversity, and lead others. Twelve Two Mentality was originally derived from a passion for helping others develop the mental skills that foster confidence, resilience, leadership, and purpose.

My Core Values

Confidence

It all starts within. We cultivate the mental clarity and self-assurance required to lead with authority and execute with precision.

My work focuses on mental performance coaching and leadership development through education, practical tools, and evidence-informed strategies. While my background in counseling psychology provides a strong foundation for understanding human behavior and performance, I am not a licensed psychologist, therapist, or mental health counselor. I do not provide therapy, diagnose or treat mental health conditions, or offer clinical psychological services. Instead, my role is to help individuals build upon the strengths they already possess by developing habits, perspectives, and mental skills that support lasting growth and performance.

Whether you're an athlete, coach, team, or aspiring leader, my goal is to help you unlock your potential by transforming the way you think—because when your mindset changes, your performance and influence can change with it.

Resilience

We build the mental fortitude to navigate adversity, adapt to change, and emerge stronger from every challenge.

Leadership

We empower individuals to inspire their teams, make decisive choices, and drive performance through strategic vision.

A little more about me...

I'm originally from Parker, CO and grew up playing whatever sport was in season. Both of my parents played sports through college so athletics have always been important to our family. From swim team to basketball, softball to soccer, I played just about all of it. I went to Valor Christian High School where I first discovered the game of lacrosse. I instantly fell in love and knew I wanted to play at the next level. I received a scholarship to play at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction where I competed for four years and studied counseling psychology. I now reside in Grand Junction and am the assistant coach for the same women's lacrosse team I once played for!

In my free time I like to hike and paddleboard with my dogs. I have also taken up the game of golf, which takes a lot of humility and mental toughness...

I am so excited to get to work with you and help you unlock your full potential by transforming the way that you think, strengthening your confidence, resilience, and developing your leadership skills in a way that will elevate your own performance while also empowering the people around you!
